We expect a very interesting batch of new releases in months to come, so it’s time for our classic 0dayrox Advanced singles. Let’s go now with 0dayrox Advanced Releases July / August 2020 – Vol.2, your soundtrack for this Summer!
Guitarist JOSH RAMOS (Hardline, The Storm, Two Fires) has announced his new solo album, ‘My Many Sides’, to be released on August 7 via Frontiers Music. Featuring guest vocals from Eric Martin (Mr. Big), Danny Vaughn (Tyketto), Harry Hess (Harem Scarem), Joe Retta (Heaven & Earth), Terry Ilous (XYZ), and Tony Mills (ex-Shy, TNT), this album highlights Josh’s abilities to play in the melodic rock and bluesy hard rock styles, as hear on frist single ‘All Over Now’…
Signed by Frontiers Music, ARCTIC RAIN is a new melodic rock sensation from Sweden. The aim for their upcoming debut album, ‘The One’, was to write songs with strong melodic rock vibes based around the type of tasteful instrumental harmonies typical for a lot of bands in the ’80s and ’90s. The 2 advanced singles are stupendous.
“Blood From Above” is the first single from hard rockers STRYPER taken from the band’s forthcoming album “Even The Devil Believes”, which will be released on September 4 via Frontiers Music. Filled with the band’s signature riffs, harmony-laden melodies and positive themes, the 11-track project is STRYPER’s first studio album with Perry Richardson (FIREHOUSE) on bass and background vocals.
With the current Coronavirus situation throughout the world, CATS IN SPACE are releasing their anthemic Rock song ‘This Is London’ in support of the NHS. The song was originally released on the ‘My Kind Of Christmas’ CD last year, but now the band are launching the tune along with ‘If I Were You’ on digital platforms for the first time.
Legendary keyboardist ROBERT LAMM (founding member of CHICAGO) has teamed with JIM PETERIK, formerly of SURVIVOR, to write a song of hope in these pandemic times with a strong message that “Everything Is Gonna Work Out Fine.” The song was created by sending sound files back and forth to each other as well as to Neil Donell, the current lead singer for Chicago.
Also QUEEN with Adam Lambert on vocals are out with a remake of one of the band’s anthems, “We are the Champions”, a re-worked version titled “You Are the Champions” dedicated to frontline health care workers.
It’s been more than two years since guitarist Michael Grant either left L.A. Guns or got fired from the band. His project MICHEAL GRANT & THE ASSASSINS has now released a couple of singles – “Red Light Run” and “Anthem of Us” – from the group’s album ‘Always The Villain’ that will be available via Frontiers Music soon. Kick ass rocking material.
ENUFF Z’NUFF are the living, breathing example of what a rock ‘n roll group should be. Now centered around bass player and vocalist Chip Z’nuff, Enuff Z’nuff are still delivering the band’s patented power pop melded with hard rock stylings. Two tracks from their new album, ‘Brainwashed Generation’, have surfaced and I like what I hear.
From their lockdown spaces, MARILLION have re-recorded their hopeful song “Made Again”, from the landmark Brave album. With its poignant lyrics, “Made Again 2020”, delivers a positive message in these troubled times. The song has a complete new arrangement, and it’s really welcomed; we all need some optimism.
