BOUDREAUX – Fallen Angel [Digitally Remastered / first time on CD] (2021)
BOUDREAUX is the last name of multi-talented musician Chris Boudreaux (The Take, Soldier) who got his start as a drummer. After playing in several / early 90s Chris decided that he wanted to put his own band BOUDREAUX back together with a fresh new line-up.
With Chris Boudreaux as front man, during 1993 the band outlined thirteen songs that they wanted to take into the studio and record. The album was finished in 1994, but the group only survived a single show before split. A pity, because they had a cool hair metal / melodic hard rock sound like a mix of early Gotthard, XYZ, Sleeze Beez, Heaven’s Edge, Hericane Alice, etc.
Now this week American reissue label Metallic Blue Records is releasing the album titled “Fallen Angel” for the first time on CD, digitally remastered.
We had some demos from this band in our collection for a long time so we had an idea of what to expect, and certainly “Fallen Angel” doesn’t disappoints.
