PRETTY BOY (pre-Mariah) – Metro Sessions ’88 [Retrospect Records remaster]

Alongside the MARIAH albums requested here, you need to check out this Retrospect Records release too: the band PRETTY BOY album “Metro Sessions“. Pretty Boy was the Melodic Hard Rock / AOR act who would eventually become the band MARIAH in 1990. These songs secured Pretty Boy their management deal with Jon Bon Jovi & Richie Sambora’s record/production company “The Underground”.
Recorded and released by themselves in 1988, the album took the name from The Metro Studios, Minneapolis, the home of the band at the time.
And some of the songs are even better than the later written as Mariah, more AORish oriented, and production is very good too, crisp and detailed for an indie.
