GARY HUGHES – In Your Eyes [Japan-only EP] *HQ*

During his 30+ year musical career, GARY HUGHES has established himself as one of England’s premiere AOR, melodic and hard rock singer & songwriter. Hughes achieved fame as frontman of successful outfit TEN, but early in his career he debuted as solo artist in 1989 with the album “Big Bad Wolf” (re-titled and re-released with extra tracks in 1990 as “Strength Of Heart”) through the Polygram Oslo label in Germany and Norway.
In 1992, Gary signed a deal with the then newly formed indie British label Now & Then Records for a new album, a self-titled released the same year. In the mid-Nineties Hughes formed TEN releasing with them a couple of excellent LP’s, but meanwhile found time to release a new solo album in 1998, ‘Precious Ones’.

To promote the record in Japan, Gary Hughes released only there this EP ‘In Your Eyes’ – the lead single of the new album – but with a different mix, plus 3 exclusive non-album tracks, and an instrumental version of the title track. Now a collectible, “In Your Eyes [Japan-only EP]” delivers more quality from this talented musician.
