Hard rock legends KISS have announced their sixth authorized ”Off The Soundboard” collection. This iteration highlights a stop along the ‘Asylum Tour’ in San Antonio, on December 3, 1985 at HemisFair Arena.
By 1985, KISS had stopped wearing their traditional makeup and costumes. In September of that year, they released their 13th album, ‘Asylum’. It was the first LP to feature lead guitarist Bruce Kulick as an official member. This lineup of Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Eric Carr, and Kulick would last until Carr’s death in 1991.
At the San Antonio gig, they performed Asylum cuts like “Uh! All Night” and the hit single “Tears Are Falling.” KISS also performed beloved songs like “Rock and Roll All Nite,” “Detroit Rock City,” “Lick It Up,” and “Love Gun.” The gig also features solos from all four members.
Sound quality is very good, and the band rock hard!
