ARMORED SAINT – Delirious Nomad [Rock Candy remastered +2] HQ

Metal Blade Records has just reissued ARMORED SAINT‘s second full length album “Delirious Nomad” in its original, regular version. However, we recommend this Rock Candy Records ‘Remastered & Reloaded‘ release, not only sporting a fantastic sound quality but also 2 extra tracks.
After their celebrated debut LP, for second album “Delirious Nomad” the band and the label enlisted the help of seasoned producer Max Norman (Ozzy Osbourne, Y&T) to provide a polished, crisp sound.
Since opener ‘Long Before I Die’ you can tell this second album is certainly a more refined, more confident effort than its predecessor, with elaborated, polished songwriting. Standouts like ‘Over the Edge’,”For the Sake of Heaviness’ and ‘In the Hole’ are meticulous studio creations which proved the band’s songwriting talents were indeed improving from strength to strength…

ARMORED SAINT – Raising Fear [Metal Blade Records Digipak Reissue 2022] HQ

Surviving a career spanning four decades, ARMORED SAINT has delivered their brand of uncompromising and passionate melodic metal with charging guitar leads and a propulsive rhythm section with valiance. The Los Angeles veterans are now releasing three of their out-of-print classic titles – 1984′s March Of The Saint, 1985′s Delirious Nomad, and 1987′s Raising Fear (which includes the previously unreleased track “Crisis Of Life” for the first time on vinyl). Originally released on Chrysalis Records, ARMORED SAINT returned to their label home of Metal Blade Records (which released their debut EP in 1983) to finally give these highly sought-after albums a proper CD / vinyl release.
None can beat the Rock Candy remasters of 1984′s March Of The Saint and 1985′s Delirious Nomad. We recommend these. However this 2022 Metal Blade reissue of ”Raising Fear” features their own Nineties remastering job, and it really sounds meaty…

ARMORED SAINT – March Of The Saint [Rock Candy remastered +3] HQ

Metal Blade Records has just reissued ARMORED SAINT full length debut album “March Of The Saint” in its original, regular version. However, we recommend this Rock Candy Records ‘Remastered & Reloaded’ release, not only sporting a fantastic sound quality but also 3 extra tracks.
One of the most commercial melodic metal albums appeared in the first half of the ’80s is without a doubt “March Of The Saint“, the debut LP by American five-piece ARMORED SAINT. Formed in Los Angeles in the early ’80s, Armored Saint were part of an explosive US West Coast metal scene that included the likes of Dokken, Malice, Ratt, Quiet Riot, Motley Crue and Metallica.
By 1984 they were signed up to a major (Chrysalis) and recorded their debut album with producer Michael James Jackson, fresh from working with a rejuvenated Kiss. The result was “March Of The Saint” – hailed by Kerrang! magazine as having ‘more balls than a snooker marathon’, and generally regarded as one of the era’s finest metal releases…

ARMORED SAINT – Symbol Of Salvation Live +6 unreleased (2021)

Next October 22nd, 2021, ARMORED SAINT will release a new CD/DVD, “Symbol of Salvation Live”, via Metal Blade Records, to celebrate the seminal album’s 30th anniversary.
A cornerstone record in the band’s career, “Symbol of Salvation” was performed in its entirety at New York’s famed Gramercy Theatre during their 2018 tour, capturing the power, diversity and peerless songwriting contained within it.
There is no denying that “Symbol of Salvation” stands out of the band’s catalogue as something truly special, something that Armored Saint recognize as readily as their rabid fanbase. The group sounds energetic, confident on this recording, very well mixed & produced with a vibrant sound.
As an extra bonus, release contain demo tracks from the Symbol Of Salvation writing sessions with late guitarist Dave Prichard, songs that didn’t make the record. These tracks make for welcome additions, helping to further celebrate the record anniversary…

ARMORED SAINT – Punching The Sky (2020)

Leaders and stalwarts of the American Metal scene since the early 80s, ARMORED SAINT‘s upcoming new album ”Punching The Sky” sees them returning hard. A diverse, attitude-drenched collection, it’s everything the band’s faithful have come to expect from them while pushing their signature sound forward.
ARMORED SAINT 2020 is more classic hard rock than metal, more melodic than aggressive, and all extremely well arranged and interesting. So melodic hard rockers, this album is for you too.
One of the best albums of the year so far.
HIGHLY Recommended

Since their inception in the early ’80s, ARMORED SAINT has always been a highly regarded live act — not only in their hometown of Los Angeles, but also around the world. ARMORED SAINT – Win Hands Down (2015)

* My beloved musical genres always gonna be Melodic Hard Rock / AOR, but I was born and raised listening classic Metal too, and ARMORED SAINT is one of my strongest references. Their ’80s albums and the superb ’91 release are amongst the best the US scene has offered.Armored Saint disappeared along the Nineties, and while they returned during the...
