In 2026, Luxembourgish rock musician JIMMY MARTIN celebrates 40 years in the music business with the album ”Past To Present”. His career spans countless singles, albums, and collaborations with renowned artists, producers, and musicians – including Rick Springfield, Robin Beck, Clif Magness, Martin Turner, and Laurie Wisefield, to name but a few.
At home in the realms of melodic rock, AOR, and rock&pop, JIMMY MARTIN revives the spirit of classic 80s and 90s rock music, combining catchy melodies with a feel-good vibe. ”Past To Present” features key singles and hits alongside rare tracks from the ’80s and new 2026 versions of older songs.
The album presents Martin’s musical journey in chronological order, starting with songs from the LP with his early band New Deal (1986), standalone solo singles, songs from his solo albums, a duet with Rick Springfield covering his hit ‘Love Somebody’, another duet with Robin Beck, and Martin’s more recent singles including 2026 recordings.

“The Singles” is the just released album by JIMMY MARTIN including songs he has recorded in recent time, featuring American superstars such as Grammy-winner Rick Springfield or the adorable Robin Beck.
Known by AOR fans for his lovely records ‘Kids Of The Rockin Nation’ and ‘The Rhythm Of Life’ during the ’80s / ’90s, lately Martin has been in the singles-only release schedule, including cooperation with Robin Beck (‘I Wish You Here Tonight’) or Rick Springfield and a duet of his hit ‘Love Somebody’, plus several own compositions.
This is pure-80s stuff with some tracks being remixed for sounding even more Eighties-like. “Leaving It All Behind” seems taken from a 1985 ‘action hero’ movie soundtrack (love it), same with the pretty awesome upbeat ”Keep on Dreaming” – a collaboration with the band New Deal – bringing to mind Stan Bush.

“The Duets” is the just released album by JIMMY MARTIN including songs he hard recorded over the years in a Duet, featuring American superstars such as Grammy winner Rick Springfield or Robin Beck.Known by AOR fans for his lovely records Kids Of The Rockin Nation and The Rhythm Of Life during the ’80s / ’90s, lately Martin has been in...
