MINDLESS SINNER – Turn On The Power [Remastered digital reissue including early versions] (2021)

A cult act from the Swedish early ’80s Scandinavian metal scene, MINDLESS SINNER just got their second LP “Turn On The Power” reissued / remastered. The album was recorded in 1984, but released in 1986.
Tomorrow Pure Steel Records will release as well this digital download-only edition of the album including as bonus the early, previously unreleased 1984 versions of the songs, rawer, heavier, without keyboards.
At the time of “Turn On The Power”, MINDLESS SINNER was purely influenced by the NWOBHM sound, with a melodic approach and catchy choruses but a traditional style akin JUDAS PRIEST, 220 VOLT, PRAYING MANTIS, IRON MAIDEN, etc

MINDLESS – Missin’ Pieces / Missing Songs ’87-’90 [2-CD release] Out Of Print

Few days ago we featured in exclusive the remastered reissue of Swedish band Mindless Sinner album ‘Turn On The Power’. At the time of its recording (1984, but the album appeared in 1986) the five-piece were strongly influenced by the traditional metal sound from the British scene.
However over the years the band shifted to a Scandinavian melodic hard rock / AOR style after the Joey Tempest’s Europe explosion all over the world. Additionally, the group shortened its name to MINDLESS.
MINDLESS recorded an album in 1987, but never was properly released.
As requested, we have here that 10-track album titled “Missin’ Pieces“, but the limited edition appeared in 2000’s including not only several extra tracks, but a complete extra disc rounding a total of 40 songs!
These are the second album MINDLESS recorded between ’88/’89, plus demos and live recordings.
If you like Scandi-AOR / Melodic Rock bands such as Europe, Treat, Glory, Talk Of The Town, etc, you need to listen – and collect – this double CD.
