There has been countless reissues of this awesome record, some of ’em pretty good, but none like this Audio Fidelity Gold HDCD. Why? Simply because is the closest sounding like an unadultered first pressing vinyl LP.
Mastered by expert Steve Hoffman, the original dynamic range of this recording wasn’t maximized, brickwalled, limited or compressed in any way. Of course, all that carefully done avoiding the resulting master sounding flat.
DEEP PURPLE’s “In Rock” never sounded better in the modern age. Musically? Well, this is a must have into any serious collection. Past June, 53 (!) years passed since “In Rock” was originally released, and still feels so darn fresh!
