WICKED LESTER (pre Kiss) – The Unreleased Remastered Tapes *Only at 0dayrox*

Now we are bringing a great one for collectors and KISS fans: the album recorded in the ’70s by WICKED LESTER, the Paul Stanley & Gene Simmons band before they became KISS; “The Unreleased Remastered Tapes“.
The group was formed in 1970 in New York under the name “Rainbow”. Two notable members were bassist Gene Klein and rhythm guitarist Paul Eisen. In 1971, the band changed their name to Wicked Lester and recorded an album for Epic Records, which was never officially released. The recording of this session appeared in a contraband form / bootleg called “The Original Wicked Lester Session”.
But… when KISS was putting their 5-disc release ‘The Box Set’ in 2001, the original plan was to release the entire Wicked Lester album on there. That idea was scrapped and only a WICKED LESTER songs appeared into ‘The Box Set’.
However, the entire album was remastered before minds were changed. We now have the complete album in the best quality EVER!

KISS – Off The Soundboard ; Live At Donington 1996 (2022)

Next Friday rock icons KISS will release the next installment of their popular Off The Soundboard official live bootleg series with ”KISS – Off The Soundboard: Live At Donington 1996”, recorded during the Monsters Of Rock Festival at Donington Park in England on August 17, 1996.
This is the latest in a series of live releases by the band, available to purchase with a 3-LP standard black vinyl set and a 2-CD set.
I need this album, because as many of you, I was there… or perhaps you attended at other place but the same tour.
The 17-song set features powerhouse performances of classic KISS concert staples such as “Do You Love Me,” “Shout It Out Loud,” “God Of Thunder,” and the title song from their 1976 multi-platinum Top Five album Love Gun.
KISS closed the festival on this date, which was also part of the highly anticipated Alive/Worldwide reunion tour featuring Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss, making KISS – Off The Soundboard: Live At Donington 1996 a stunning sonic souvenir of this moment in KISStory…

KISS – Off The Soundboard; Live In Virginia Beach (2022)

On March 11, rock icons KISS will release the next installment of their ‘Off The Soundboard’ official live bootleg series with ”KISS – Off The Soundboard: Live In Virginia Beach”, recorded live at the Virginia Beach Amphitheatre on July 25, 2004.
This is the second in a series of live releases by the band finding the legendary quartet in the midst of their ‘Rock The Nation’ Tour, which is notable for being the first full U.S. tour of the longstanding Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer, and Eric Singer line-up.
The career-spanning 20-song set includes classic KISS tracks such as “Lick It Up,” “I Love It Loud,” and the worldwide smash and No. 11 1979 U.S. Billboard charting “I Was Made For Lovin’ You,” as well as perennial KISS fan favorites “Makin’ Love,” “King Of The Night Time World,” and “100,000 Years” that dig deep into the band’s astonishing 40+ year back catalog.
As with the previous installment of the series, sound quality is very good. The band is on top form that night showcasing this line up worked and glued very well…

KISS – Off The Soundboard Tokyo Dome 2001 [Glenburn Remix] (2022)

“Off The Soundboard Tokyo Dome 2001”, the new official “bootleg” live series for KISS, was released by the band together with UMe / Mercury last year. The album features KISS’ epic performance at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan on March 13, 2001, taken from the band’s vault of soundboard recordings, featuring Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Eric Singer and Ace Frehley.
But the release includes all the interaction with the audience, Paul’s long introduction to the songs, etc, so now we have here the “Off The Soundboard Tokyo Dome 2001 [Glenburn Remix]“, which trims the original 2 hours and 10 minutes down to 1 hour and 38 minutes, and makes it much easier and enjoyable to listen to. Just the songs, in the ‘Alive’ albums fashion.
Of course this ‘Glenburn Remix’ is a bootleg but works wonderfully, source taken from the original lossless files. Additionally, the sound quality has been improved as well…

KISS – Destroyer [45th anniversary Super Deluxe Edition 4xCD] (2021)

Get up! Everybody gonna move their feet and leave their seat for a new deluxe edition of KISS’ signature studio album ”Destroyer”, available November 19. Following the success of the double concert album Alive! in 1975, which introduced the world at large to the hard-rockin’ quartet in black and white facepaint and out-there stage costumes, ”Destroyer” was polished to perfection by producer Bob Ezrin. The group added layers of unique craft to these songs, from string sections to sound effects – and Ezrin’s unconventional methods (later compared to “musical boot camp” by lead singer Paul Stanley) enhanced their musicality.
This “Destroyer [45th anniversary Super Deluxe Edition 4xCD]” is packed with audio extras – many previously unreleased – and plenty of ephemera for KISS Kollectors.
Alongside the remastered album, three bonus discs offer demos from Stanley and Simmons’ archives, a jam-packed offering of outtakes and single edits (including a new acoustic mix of “Beth” and the long-coveted “Ain’t None of Your Business,” the first song cut during the album sessions), and a previously unreleased live concert taken from the Olympia Theatre in Paris…

Of course there’s copies of this concert circulating among fans, but none with the A+ sound quality of this official release, professionally mastered and silver pressed…

KISS – The Solo Albums ; Paul Stanley [Japan SHM-CD remastered Limited Numbered] Out Of Print

These have been requested several times; the 1978 KISS ‘solo albums’ from each band member in its Japanese SHM-CD pressing. Many of you reported finding fake SHM-CD rips all over the net, so here’s the real deal, the numbered limited edition of each including full artwork.
Just like Ace, Paul Stanley knew that his strength was in straight forward, guitar-driven rock n’ roll, so even as a solo artist on “Paul Stanley” he didn’t stray very far from the formula that made KISS so successful. “Tonight You Belong To Me” and “Move On” start the album off with a nice one-two punch…

KISS – The Solo Albums ; Ace Frehley [Japan SHM-CD remastered Limited Numbered] Out Of Print

These have been requested several times; the 1978 KISS ‘solo albums’ from each band member in its Japan SHM-CD pressing. Many of you reported finding fake SHM-CD rips all over the net, so here’s the real deal, the numbered limited edition of each including full artwork.
I wonder if anyone predicted in 1978 that KISS’ good natured but shy six stringer “Ace Frehley” would wind up producing the only truly classic album out of the solo four pack? I bet listeners were saying “Damn! I knew Ace was good, but I didn’t know he was THIS good!”
From the moment you press play on the barn burning opener “Rip It Out,” Ace is off and running and he doesn’t let up until the final fade out of the closing instrumental “Fractured Mirror”…

KISS – The Solo Albums ; Gene Simmons [Japan SHM-CD remastered Limited Numbered] Out Of Print

These have been requested several times; the 1978 KISS ‘solo albums’ from each band member in its Japan SHM-CD pressing. Many of you reported finding fake SHM-CD rips all over the net, so here’s the real deal, the numbered limited edition of each including full artwork.
For “Gene Simmons” the KISS Army was waiting for a down-n-dirty, rumbling metal monster, but while Gene’s album some of KISS style hard rock (“Radioactive”), there’s Beatle-esque acoustic noodling (“Mr. Make Believe” and “See You Tonight”) and a orchestrated string songs and other studio trickery…

KISS – The Solo Albums ; Peter Criss [Japan SHM-CD remastered Limited Numbered] Out Of Print

These have been requested several times; the 1978 KISS ‘solo albums’ from each band member in its Japan SHM-CD pressing. Many of you reported finding fake SHM-CD rips all over the net, so here’s the real deal, the numbered limited edition of each including full artwork.
Peter will readily admit that musically, he was the “odd man out” in KISS. He was born a few years earlier than his band mates, so while they were growing up on a steady hard rockin’ diet of Led Zeppelin, the Who, and the Beatles, Peter came of age in the late 50s/early ’60s listening to lots of swing music and the soul, doo-wop and girl groups of rock n’ roll’s formative years.
Therefore, it makes sense that his solo album “Peter Criss” is a smooth, retro flavored pop-rock record with a dance-able edge…

PAUL STANLEY’S SOUL STATION – Now And Then (2021)

Kiss co-founder & frontman PAUL STANLEY has spent the last few years developing a project close to his heart. ‘Soul Station’ is a band gathering some of today’s leading musicians to pay tribute to the greatest artists and songs from the R&B and soul catalog to keep this vital music current. While a surprise to many, Stanley’s early pivotal roots in this music has quietly turned this passion into a celebrated touring and recording band.
Stanley’s 15-piece ensemble group has toured the U.S. and Japan, and recently recorded an album of nine classic soul songs and five new original songs. To be released tomorrow, here’s PAUL STANLEY’s SOUL STATION “Now And Then”.

KISS – Best Of Solo Albums [Japan Hi-Res MQA-CD UHQCD / DSD remaster 2020] *EXCLUSIVE*

Universal Music Japan has released few months ago a High Resolution disc (MQA-CD + UHQCD) of KISSBest Of Solo Albums“, a 2020 DSD remaster based on the original analog tape converted to 352.8kHz / 24bit.
The compilation was never released in North America, so here it’s quite a rarity. Seems there never has been an official CD release either. Any CD would be a bootleg, until now: this Japanese is an official Universal Music release.
“Best Of Solo Albums“ is a really must have addition to your collection, even if you have all the solo albums: Paul Stanley’s “Take Me Away (Together As One)” is featured here in its complete version (not fade out like on the actual solo album), the intro to Peter Criss “I Can’t Stop The Rain” is louder in the mix, etc.
Excellent sound quality.

KISS – Killers [Japan Hi-Res MQA-CD UHQCD / DSD remaster 2020] *EXCLUSIVE*

Universal Music Japan has released a couple months ago a High Resolution disc (MQA-CD + UHQCD) of KISSKillers“, a 2020 DSD remaster based on US original analog tape converted to 352.8kHz / 24bit.
At the time of its release (1982) “Killers” became a rarity, at least for the American public, because it wasn’t released in the USA. The album included some of the recent KISS hits re-mixed, but also 4 new songs, recorded specifically for this release.
These new songs were recorded at the behest of Phonogram / Casablanca Records, in response to the commercial failure of 1981’s Music from “The Elder”.
The sound definition of this MQA-CD + UHQCD is excellent.

KISS – Double Platinum [Japan Hi-Res (MQA x UHQCD) Limited Release remaster 2020]

Universal Music Japan has released a couple months ago a High Resolution disc (MQA-CD + UHQCD) of KISS essential album “Double Platinum“, a 2020 DSD master based on US original analog tape converted to 352.8kHz / 24bit.
KISS’s first best compilation album summarizes the most representative songs from their first 6 original albums, but including a new recording “Strutter ’78” and other 9 songs in a newly re-mixed version.
KISS were cruising at high speed during their late-’70s heyday. The band’s label, Casablanca, decided to do things a little differently than it would to a standard greatest-hits package. Sean Delaney and Mike Stone remixed many of the tracks, peppering them with noticeable sonic tweaks.

ACE FREHLEY – Origins Vol.2 (2020)

The second covers album from ACE FREHLEY, “Origins, Vol. 2,” kicks off with Led Zeppelin’s “Good Times Bad Times.” Ace is very much aware of that song being the first song on the first side of the first Zeppelin album, and the first single that the band released in the United States.
Mountain’s “Never in My Life” follows utilizing the lyrics from the Japanese album insert with the more appropriate “bolt of lightning” reference. For some this song is less well known than the signature “Mississippi Queen,” but it features a riff that Jimi Hendrix purportedly dug on hearing while Mountain worked in the studio in 1970.
Fans of the heavier Frehley penned KISS classic “Strange Ways” should dig the riff too. In addition to connecting with old songs, Frehley has also reconnected with old friends on “Origins, Vol. 2.” The first of
