LOVE / HATE – Let’s Rumble [Bad Reputation remastered +5] HQ *only at 0dayrox*

While their debut ‘Blackout in the Red Room’ may be LOVE / HATE best album, this, their third effort “Let’s Rumble” is not far behind, and just like the two before it packs one hell of a punch. After their second album ‘Wasted in America’, Sony Records dropped the contract – it happened with all the bands of this style between 1992-1993.
But LOVE / HATE refuse to die, and released via a small label “Let’s Rumble” in 1993, cranking the jets on this visceral brash rocker of classic proportions, again blowing the doors off with the first few tracks, then becoming merely one of the best bands in the world for the back half. In our opinion, “Let’s Rumble” is the band’s most complete LP.
This Bad Reputation Records remastered reissue brings back this long time out print – and underrated – album including no less than 5 bonus tracks.

Jizzy Pearl’s LOVE/HATE – Hell, CA (2022)

Raised during the ’80s debauchery on the Sunset Strip and still going strong in 2022 – Jizzy Pearl’s LOVE/HATE are ready to release its new album ”HELL, CA” next weekend. The record is a collection of 10 hard-hitting rock anthems, all with that distinctive Love/Hate style, with Jizzy Pearl’s trademark vocals taking the songs up and beyond and the heavy guitars doing the rest.
LOVE/HATE released two of the finest albums of the whole glam/hair metal movement, just as the world was moving on and embracing the dour slurry of grunge instead. Both “Blackout in the Red Room” and “Wasted in America” stand up just fine today, too: snotty, balls-out rock records, full of great songs and palpable attitude.
Thirty years on JIZZY PEARL has assembled a fresh line-up worthy of the band’s name and made an album that very nearly matches the priapic energy of those aforementioned classics. ”HELL, CA” is a big, brash and belligerent rock ‘n’ roll album, and Pearl sounds exhilarated to be part of it…

LOVE/HATE – Before The Blackout [AorBlvd Records 500 copies / Japan Edition +2] *the Real one*

Some time ago LOVE/HATE in conjunction with AorBlvd Records released a collection of demos that they did in 1986-87 on a CD entitled ”Before The Blackout”. As its title implies, these are the songs / demos LOVE/HATE wrote and recorded before their major label debut LP ‘Blackout in the Red Room’.
If you never liked LOVE/HATE’s musical style, you better check ”Before The Blackout”, you’ll be surprised. and in a good way.
Many of the songs have a very mid-80s rock&pop, melodic feel. Indeed, at places, we’re talking an almost rough Duran Duran meets The Cult! Some of these never have been released before, others later recorded by the band with different arrangements.
On “Before The Blackout” we find ‘Why Do You Think’, the very early version of LOVE/HATE’s hit ‘Why Do You Think They Call It Dope’, as part of the bonus tracks on this now mega-rare Japanese Edition.
The sound quality is very good…

JIZZY PEARL’s LOVE/HATE – Gonna Take You Higher (2021) + Crucified [rare EP / deleted]

If there’s a musician raised during the 80s debauchery on the Sunset Strip and still going strong in 2021, that’s should be JIZZY PEARL. Since his acclaimed band LOVE/HATE original line-up split, Jizzy has played, recorded and toured with platinum artists such as Ratt, L.A. Guns, Steven Adler and Quiet Riot, and at the same time has kept the band alive with his own version – JIZZY PEARL’s LOVE/HATE.
JIZZY PEARL’s LOVE/HATE is ready to release their new album ”HELL, CA.” which will be released in early 2022, and a 3-track advance has been presented showcasing LOVE/HATE rocking & raw as ever.
Additionally, we have here a request from one of you, the rare, hard to find JIZZY PEARL EP “Crucified“, a 6-tracker only appeared in digital format at the end of 2013 and soon retired / deleted from all platforms. It happens that founding LOVE/HATE guitarist Jon E. Love sued Jizzy for this EP, and since then the album has become much sought after.

LOVE/HATE – Blackout In The Red Room +7 [Bad Reputation remaster] *0dayrox EXCLUSIVE*

As requested, here’s the Bad Reputation Records remastered reissue of LOVE/HATE‘s celebrated debut ”Blackout In The Red Room”, including no less than 7 juicy bonus tracks.
On the surface, the music of Love / Hate’s first album may seem no different than most any late-’80s L.A. pop metal, but the band’s performance exudes a fury and belligerence that put them on the other sidewalk than Poison or Warrant, to name a couple. Although their appeal was primarily to a mainstream crowd, they nurtured a style that would outsmart their competition by wide margin.
Fronted by wild man of rock Jizzy Pearl whose twisted vocal is as powerful as it is different, the band courted a similar audience to the cavortings of similar ground breaking street urchins such as Skid Row, The Wildhearts, and…

LOVE/HATE – Wasted In America +4 [Bad Reputation remastered] *0dayrox EXCLUSIVE*

As requested, here we have the Bad Reputation Records remastered reissue of LOVE/HATE‘s second album ”Wasted In America”, including 4 bonus tracks. “Wasted In America” is a unique album – and criminally underrated – from the L.A. rock scene, one that you need in your collection.
LOVE/HATE doesn’t really sound like any of the big names of the day, by not doing the predictable, expected thing for a glam / hair metal band at the time, although they would seem to have many of the same ingredients.
“Wasted In America” is wildly inventive, and distinctive in its sound. It’s an electric and exciting record, produced with bluster and bravado, lending the band a…
