Channeling influences from the likes of Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Rush, Deep Purple, etc, Chicago based quartet THE CYBERIAM are about to release their new album “Connected” next August 6th.
While tagged as progressive rock / metal, THE CYBERIAM’s music go far beyond this, at places hard rocking, others very melodic close to rock&pop. The structure of the songs is clear: strong melodic verses and choruses with lots of muso moments underneath, generous on the virtuosic drum & bass fills, sharp guitars, and beautiful vocal harmonies.
