RED VOODOO (produced by Frank Hannon) – Bring It Back (2021)

Sacramento’s hard rock band RED VOODOO are ready to take on the world with their debut album ”Bring It Back”, produced by TESLA guitarist Frank Hannon. This young band is influenced by the upbeat, party rock n roll of the 80’s – yet mixed with a refreshing soulful sound.
Formed in 2018, Red Voodoo features the lead vocal skills of 18 year old Dino McCord who surprised Hannon with his maturity and rock ‘n roll swagger. Hannon said; “I knew immediately when Dino sent me the band’s demos that I wanted to produce it. RED VOODOO has that youthful magical talent that makes the recording studio process fun. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do!”
Apart from their rocking attack, the band places a huge emphasis on quality vocals. This is also heard in the harmony backing vocals of Davin and Andrew to enhance the band’s sound. Nick’s drumming however leans more to the progressive influences of Neil Peart, and this brings a colorful melodic tom tom approach to his drumming which is also a rarity in today’s music.
