JOHN WAITE – Anything (2022)

Former The Babys and Bad English vocalist JOHN WAITE is releasing new music this year in the form of the EP “Anything“, ready for his summer tour sharing stage with Rick Springfield and Men At Work’s Colin Hay.
The songs on “Anything” are very upbeat melodic rockers with electricity. According to Waite, he owe it to his fans who have been asking him more rocking music. Waite’s latest release was ‘Wooden Heart’ – an acoustic anthology – when the world was kind of in a dark place with the COVID thing.
The new EP sees Waite making an ‘electric’ album again, showcasing his talent for crafting timeless melodies and where his unique voice is in top form, intact…

JOHN WAITE – Wooden Heart Acoustic Anthology; The Complete Recordings Volumes 1, 2 & 3 (2021)

In recent years JOHN WAITE released a 4-track acoustic EP titled ‘Wooden Heart Vol.1′, via his own label No Brakes Records. It was very well received by the fans, so three years after Waite released “Wooden Heart Vol. 2’, this time a full length album including new songs, revisited classics (yes, also ‘Missing You’) plus some previously unreleased acoustic masters from previous Waite album sessions.
With a cover artwork personally hand drawn “selfie”, now 2021 Waite is presenting his brand-new release ‘Wooden Heart Volume 3’ as a Tri-fold Digipak CD set – “Wooden Heart Acoustic Anthology; The Complete Recordings Volumes 1, 2 & 3” – featuring the new collection alongside both Volume 1 and 2 in the one package.
Additionally, there’s some remixes and new versions from Vol. 1 & 2 tracks, and what a joy it is to hear…

Best Reissue album 2017, #2 : BAD ENGLISH – Bad English [Rock Candy remastered +2] (2017)

BAD ENGLISH self-titled debut “Bad English” has been Remastered & Reloaded by Rock Candy Records including 2 bonus tracks. The last remastered version of this awesome album went out of print long time ago, so this fresh treatment – far superior – is more than welcomed for all AOR fans worldwide.
There were many attempts at piecing together super-groups during the late ’80s but few were as successful as Bad English, a project born from the mash-up of two hugely influential outfits, namely the Babys (John Waite, Ricky Philips) and Journey (Jonathan Cain, Neal Schon and, later, Deen Castronovo).
Both groups had featured talent to die for, so anticipation was extremely high for this noble alliance.
Fortunately, unlike similar collaborations, the results were spectacular, leaving no one in any doubt that Bad English had delivered a cornerstone record, one that is still revered to this day.
