THE TOOLS – Diamond Lace [Digitally Remastered / first time on CD] (2020)
Formed in the late Seventies, THE TOOLS were very popular in the Salt Lake City area, having played for 20,000 people at the Great Salt Lake Salt Shaker Beach Festival. After several demos, the band entered the Audio Vision Studios in November of 1982 to record their first album “Diamond Lace“, released by themselves.
Now Metallic Blue Records has unearthed the tapes and plus some THE TOOLS early recordings reissued “Diamond Lace” with a digitally remastered treatment.
The songs were professionally recorded, showcasing a band with lots of energy in a style similar to early Loverboy, Legs Diamond, Franke The Knockouts and more. Great guitars, strong vocals and catchy songwriting from a band deserving major exposure.
