As requested, here’s the only full length solo record by KARLA, a melodic hard rock / AOR album released by female singer / songwriter Karla Goldman. Released via Sisapa / Curb Records, unfortunately the label didn’t give to this album the push it deserved and it’s a shame, ‘cos in 1990 it easily could have work very well with its style like a mixture of Lita Ford, Heart and Joanna Dean. Just check the awesome midtempo ‘Never Say No’.
Karla’s voice is really strong, production is crisp (1989-1990) and Mark Chatfield (The Godz) delivers a sharp guitar work.
Really good female fronted melodic hard rock / AOR.
