BANGALORE CHOIR – Beyond Target : Alternate Mixes, Rarities and Demos (2022)
Hard rockers BANGALORE CHOIR are releasing ”Beyond Target : Alternate Mixes, Rarities and Demos”, including a bunch of rarities ranging from self-taped demos and tracks done in the at Stevie Nick’s personal studio as well as some at A&M studios. It’s quite a funny story as some of the tracks were recorded over U2’s ‘The Joshua Tree’ pre-production demos tapes.
There’s also remixes from BANGALORE CHOIR’s album ‘On Target’, originally done in the early ’90s at Skip Saylor and the Enterprise Studios, and after years of wondering where these lost tracks were, the band found them through an old friend.
All these found remixed tracks were carefully remastered for this release, lost gems for BANGALORE CHOIR, David Reece and general late ’80s / early Nineties hard rock fans.
Reece said: “I remain very proud of this history and am so very happy to give these lost tracks life again”.
