LEVIATHAN PROJECT is a powerful Traditional Metal ensemble featuring Tim “Ripper” Owens (KK’s Priest, ex-Judas Priest, ex-Yngwie Malmsteen) on lead vocals, Vinny Appice (Last In Line, ex-Black Sabbath, ex-Dio) on drums, Bobby Koelble (ex-Death) on lead guitar, Tom Kay (ex-Britny Fox) on guitar, and Matt Nardo (Angel Talk) on bass.
Collectively, they tap into the late 70s and early 80s sound that defined a generation. The result is an aggressive and captivating group that combines traditional Metal & hard rock with soaring melodies, haunting vocals and otherworldly guitars.

Leviathan Project originally released a Limited Edition cassette in 2021, throwing it back to the early days of Metal when you would discover the latest new band through tape trading. Now with the addition of legendary drummer Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Dio) they are set to release ”MCMLXXXII” – or ‘1982’ – a clear reference to the band’s era sound.
The album was produced by former Britny Fox guitarist Tom Kay and mastered by Jack Endino, and this CD version features 2 bonus tracks. Fans of Judas Priest, and especially early ’80s Black Sabbath & DIO will love this.
