91 SUITE – Back In The Game (2022) HQ

91 SUITE, one of the finest AOR acts from Spain, are releasing their new album properly titled “Back In The Game”, their comeback, first full length album in almost twenty years. The group released two really good albums celebrated by the AOR community, and after some member’s personal projects, 91 SUITE reunited again in 2017 to organize 91 Suite’s 20th Anniversary tour, and the response resulted so successful the guys decided to stat to work in a new album.
This is classy, very classic AOR / Melodic Rock in sound & production, songs with sweet choruses and rich harmony vocals all over the place. And they have the unique Robin Beck on guest vocals.
If you never heard 91 Suite, you’ll be surprised by the songwriting quality, and their stupendous musicianship / musicality. Take equal parts of FM, Lionville, Bon Jovi, Wild Rose, add a dash of Mr. Big and Hardline, and you have a hint of 91 Suite’s sound – but they own much more.
“Back In The Game” packs some of the best Melodic Rock / AOR tunes you’ll hear this year, BELIEVE ME.
And yes, 91 Suite is one of THE comeback acts of the year. Do yourself a favor and GRAB this album NOW EXCELLENT stuff…

91 SUITE – 91 Suite [YesterRock remaster + 4 Bonus Tracks] *EXCLUSIVE*

And here’s 91 SUITE celebrated first self-titled album, in its YesterRock team remastered reissue including 4 Bonus Tracks, presented a t 0dayrox in exclusive. When “91 Suite” originally appeared in 2002, instantly put a big smile on our AOR faces. At the time the genre still remained in the underground, and while many musicians sold their souls to modern trends to get a charting single, 91 Suite did what they loved so much: classic second half of the ’80s AOR / Melodic Rock music.
Mixed by Mark Mangold (Drive She Said, Touch) in NY, “91 Suite” ignited the AOR spark in UK, Central Europe and Japan, where the CD was released including an exclusive bonus track, also present into this YesterRock / Schmankerl Records remastered reissue.
Mixing Slippery-era Bon Jovi, Strangeways, FM, Giant, Europe, Dalton , etc, all songs into “91 Suite” are lovely examples that AOR / melodic rock music never will die. Apart from these influences, 91 Suite does not stick to one formula; there’s catchy…

91 SUITE – Times They Change (2nd album)

As a natural consequence after the excellent new 91 SUITE material featured here, it’s mandatory to post as well the band’s other 2 albums. With their critically acclaimed first record – which sold very well in UK, Central Europe and Japan – 91 Suite were absolutely in love with their favorite genre; AOR.
For “Times They Change”, the Spaniard’s second effort, the group added a certain edge to the guitars, and musically a little more Melodic Rock oriented. With 14 tracks to enjoy here, there’s something for everyone.
Proof of the CD rocking punch is heard after the atmospheric ‘Intro’, with ‘Seal It With A Kiss’, a dynamic rocker driven by the guitar riff and singer Jesus Espin’s powerful clean pipes. The guitar solo rocks hard, providing even more the aforementioned edge.
“Times They Change” is a really good Melodic (Hard) Rock / AOR album, very well produced & mixed. Put this besides Harem Scarem, Zeno, First Signal, Nineties Bon Jovi… and let me tell you a secret… 91 Suite are even better than many of these…
