TERRAPLANE (pre Thunder) – The Singles Collection [2-CD Lemon / Cherry Red Records remastered] HQ *Exclusive*

As requested, here’s the UK-only release “The Singles Collection” of TERRAPLANE, the ’80s band of future Thunder founders Danny Bowes (vocals), Luke Morley (guitars) and Gary James (drums). This Lemon Recordings / Cherry Red Records 2-CD pack is the first ever complete singles round up from the seminal British Hard Rock band.
Every A and B side issued by the band is here with many tracks / versions appearing on CD for the first time, and the whole release has been totally remastered by Tim Turan.
Morley & Bowes formed the band in South London in 1983 and after some line up changes and definitely adopting the Terraplane name, they independently released “I Survive,” a single whose popularity earned them a record deal from Epic.
The label pushed Terraplane to find a poppier, more radio-friendly sound akin to Bon Jovi or Survivor, and the band consented, releasing their debut, Black & White in 1985. There were 5 singles from the album. Terraplane’s sophomore album, Moving Target, came out in 1987, and produced 3 singles…

THUNDER – Dopamine (2022) HQ

British hard rock icons THUNDER will release a new album, “Dopamine“, on April 29. “Dopamine” is THUNDER’s first ever double-album, and consists of 16 tracks — something that is resonant with the album’s themes.
Guitarist, songwriter and THUNDER co-founder Luke Morley says: “‘We didn’t set out to make a double album but as the writing and recording process went on, we wandered into some interesting areas and then it became a case of ‘can we afford to leave any of this off?’ In the end, we did reduce it from 20 tunes to 16, but it wasn’t an easy choice.”
Satirical and urgent but never downcast, “Dopamine” was inspired by the world’s mass retreat to social media during the pandemic lockdowns, endlessly hunting for the next hit of happy hormones.
The new album comes at the perfect time for THUNDER, whose lineup for the last quarter-century and more has been Luke and Danny Bowes (vocals), plus Ben Matthews (guitar and keyboards), Chris Childs (bass) and Harry James (drums)…

THUNDER – BackStreet Symphony [2-CD Remastered Edition with Bonus]

Many of you asked for British hard rock institution THUNDER first album “Back Street Symphony“ (or  BackStreet Symphony as they want to be named) in its deluxe  edition, 2xCD including a lot of bonus material. A must have album in your collection for sure.
Every once in a while, you come across a band that you want the world to know about. I first saw the video for “Dirty Love” from Thunder on MTV (remember when MTV showed videos?). It made me run right out and buy “Backstreet Symphony” on cassette (I didn’t have a CD player yet)…. It blew me away.
This “BackStreet Symphony [2-CD Remastered Edition with Bonus]” is the one to own. It packs the entire single B-sides, plus a killer performance at Town & Country Club in London, March 7th, 1990, all finely remastered with a pristine punchy sound.
A must-have for all classic hard rock fans.

THUNDER – All The Right Noises : The Bonus Songs (2021)

British rock legends THUNDER have announced the release of the expanded edition of their 13th studio album, ‘All The Right Noises‘ on 24th September 2021 on BMG. It follows on from the album’s original release earlier this year, which saw the band maintain their incredible chart run by achieving a No.3 Album; as well as rave reviews.
This 3-disc deluxe edition – with a slightly different cover artwork now turned to red – features a bonus CD and a DVD. The extra audio disc includes 4 studio tracks, plus 8 tracks recorded live at Rockfield Studios.
As requested by fans, now these ”All The Right Noises : The Bonus Songs” will be available as digital download, as a standalone / separated purchase.
Thirty-plus years in the business, and Thunder show us they are at the top of their game…
