DAVID REECE – Universal Language [2022 reissue +4 bonus tracks] *0dayrox Exclusive*

Talented American singer DAVID REECE has made a fresh arrangement with English label Global Rock Records to reissue his out of print solo catalog with bonus tracks. “Universal Language” is Reece’s first album under the ‘David Reece’ moniker. The singer really shouldn’t need any introduction, he was the frontman for ACCEPT, BANGLORE CHOIR, GYPSY ROSE, TANGO DOWN, and more.
Don’t let the uninspired artwork fool you, the music on Universal Language [2022 reissue +4 bonus tracks] is anything but. This is bluesy melodic hard rock with top class musicianship. Reece is joined by excellent band mates in Andy Susemihl (U.D.O.), Jochen Fuenders (Holy Moses) and Stefan Schwarzmann: Drums (Accept / Helloween / Krokus).
In many ways, Reece sounds here so much like David Coverdale at times that it is uncanny, and other times I’m reminded of Glenn Hughes…

DAVID REECE – Compromise [2022 reissue +1] *0dayrox Exclusive*

Talented American singer DAVID REECE has made a fresh arrangement with English label Global Rock Records to reissue his out of print solo catalog with bonus tracks. Originally released by AOR Heaven Records, “Compromise” is Reece’s second album under the ‘David Reece’ moniker.
Reece really shouldn’t need any introduction, but for those of you who haven’t heard that name before, the man has an impressive discography through the years. Having been more recognized thanks to his work with Accept in their late ’80s album, and since making his reappearance in the Melodic Hard Rock world with the acclaimed 2008 Gypsy Rose album, one time Sircle Of Silence frontman David Reece has made up for his more than decade long absence from the scene.
Two Bangalore Choir albums, a Tango Down release, a CD as Reece-Kronlund and a solo record, all confirming him as a singer of great muscular voice, huge presence and one with a keen eye for a killer tune.

It has been 18 years since BANGALORE CHOIR’s only release “On Target” in 1992, unfortunately, at the dawn of the grunge movement during a time where melodic / hard rock acts would soon be swept on the back burner in favor of musical faire such as Nirvana, Mudhoney, etc.On Target was the perfect collection of catchy rock that would have...
