UNION (J. Corabi) – Union +1 [Japan Edition] +2 0dayrox extras

This is a really nice request as this band needs to be discovered by masses. UNION was formed in 1997 when ex-KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick, ex-MOTLEY CRUE vocalist and guitarist John Corabi, bassist James Hunting (DAVID LEE ROTH), and drummer Brent Fitz (SLASH) united to form a band. Kulick left Kiss after they decided to go back to their original lineup, and Corabi left Mötley Crüe under similar circumstances.
I remember back in time when I first heard the band’s self-titled debut, 1998’s “Union” – at first I was a bit confused, somehow it sounded ‘grungy’… dude, after some few songs I was amazed.
This is indeed a super-group, and all the individual talents shine here but working as ‘a real union’. The sound is dark at places, yet highly regarding believe me. Then impressive acoustic bluesy based tunes appear, there’s even second half of the Nineties AOR into the mix.
This now rare Japanese Edition includes an exclusive bonus track, and 0dayrox always give more: the bonus track from the 2002 reissue and an outtake from the original session, a very good finished track.

UNION – The Blue Room (1999)

This is a really nice request as this band needs to be discovered by masses. Well, the scary thing is this Union second effort ”The Blue Room” is even better… songwriting has been perfected, production polished to crispness, and Kulick gets loose on the guitar…

UNION – Live In The Galaxy (1999)

This is a really nice request as this band needs to be discovered by masses. UNION was formed in 1997 when ex-KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick, ex-MOTLEY CRUE vocalist and guitarist John Corabi, bassist James Hunting (DAVID LEE ROTH), and drummer Brent Fitz (SLASH) united to form a band. Kulick left Kiss after they decided to go back to their original lineup, and Corabi left Mötley Crüe under similar circumstances.
In between the band’s self-titled debut, 1998’s “Union” and 1999’s second effort ”The Blue Room”, UNION recorded this “Live In The Galaxy“, and glad they did it.
It’s an intimate, so polished performance / recording that you barely notice this is a live recording.
And the band did their own, wonderful versions of the Kiss songs “Jungle” and “I Walk Alone”, Cheap Trick’s classic “Surrender”, and the Beatles “Hide Your Love Away”, and my fave, “Power to the Music” from Corabi days in Motley Crue…

THE SCREAM – Takin’ It To The Next Level [unreleased 2nd album] (1993) *0dayrox Exclusive*

Founded by guitarist Bruce Bouillet, bass player John Alderete and vocalist John Corabi, short-lived band THE SCREAM was a great band for sure plenty of groove, energy, soul and heavy guitars. When Corabi was asked to replace Vince Neil in Motley Crue, they hooked up with another equally as scary vocalist Billy Fogarty and recorded “Takin’ It To The Next Level” which, unfortunately, never got released because of a few Spinal Tap-ish record industry moves.
It was 1993, and the music style into “Takin’ It To The Next Level” wasn’t the hot cake anymore. Additionally, on this record THE SCREAM experimented a little with other sounds as well, like funk, rap-metal, etc, mixed with their traditional hard rock style.
“Takin’ It To The Next Level” is professionally recorded & produced album, and while there’s copies circulating among fans and collectors, our sounds better and includes extra tracks.

THE SCREAM – Let It Scream [Rock Candy remaster +6] HQ

Out of print for many years THE SCREAM‘s one and only album finally got its reissue / remaster by Rock Candy Records. “Let It Scream [Rock Candy remaster +6]” includes a bunch of worthy bonus tracks, a really welcomed as this is a record that criminally flew under the radar when it was first released, but has subsequently become one of the most respected and revered releases from the early ’90s.
It represented a high point for blistering blues-based hard rock, akin Badlands (Ray Gillen guest backing vocals), Cinderella, Aerosmith, etc. But as we know, grunge engulfed them and others but at least they didn’t go down without a fight.
Produced by industry legend Eddie Kramer (Led Zeppelin, Kiss, Fastway) and originally issued in 1991, the album is a riot of riffs and thrills, with Corabi surrounded by the sort of thunderous…
