Venturing deep into the Moore family archives, some previously unheard and unreleased deep cuts and alternative versions surfaced to accentuate the beguiling mastery of one of blues’ finest modern exponents.
Amongst the songs are unheard and unreleased Moore originals – “In My Dreams,” a lusciously glorious slow-moving ballad with every note and bend weeping as Moore pours out his heart along with the stunningly melancholic “Looking At Your Picture”.

TRIGGER – Trigger [Rock Candy remastered & reloaded] *0dayrox EXCLUSIVE*

As requested, here’s the quite hard to find Rock Candy Records (not listed into their website anymore) remastered reissue of the the long sought after – and never before available on CD – self titled debut album from cult late Seventies New Jersey band TRIGGER self-tiled album.
Originally issued on the legendary Casablanca label in 1978, this album has been a hard rock collector’s favorite; for years a perennial top 3 title in virtually every reissue wish list published in on-line forums and beyond.
Discovered by Gene Simmons of Kiss who helped them to get a record deal, Trigger’s sole major label album was issued slap bang in the middle of the disco era resulting in low sales but attracting huge critical acclaim. As contagious a collection of loud & anthemic, no frills riff rockers you’ll ever likely hear, the band’s music combines the the best elements of groups such as Starz, Teaze, Kiss, The Babys and Billy Squier.
This reissue, officially licensed from Universal Music, has been remastered from the master tapes and sound fabulous.

ROXVILLE – Fallen From Grace (2021)

Formed ten years ago and after some line-up changes, British melodic hard rockers ROXVILLE solidified in 2017 and starting to materialize the dream of their first album. Titled “Fallen From Grace“, this is a cracking 13-track CD plenty of ’80s US influences from the genre with an updated sound akin the Scandinavian new wave.
There’s killer riffs, massive choruses and a maturity rarely seen into a debut CD. Jamie Sloane’s lead vocals soar all over, Chaz Jones’ George Lynch-like solos kick some serious ass, they have a huge rhythm section recalling White Lion / Black N’ Blue best era, cool keyboard slashes, and a fantastic production in the best Michael Wagener fashion circa 1987.
And the best part of it: all songs are good, very good. You need to check these guys!

JAMIE ALLEN – All The Things That Matter [CD version +1] (2021)

American rocker JAMIE ALLEN has been fronting one of the best POISON tribute bands for almost twenty years: the man has the looks and a voice of a Brett Michaels clone. But Jamie is also a talented songwriter and already pleased us with his very good debut album ‘The Storyteller’, produced by JOHNNY LIMA.
Now JAMIE ALLEN is back with his first album in ten years, second full length titled ‘All The Things That Matter‘, with Johnny Monaco (Enuff Z’Nuff, L.A. Guns) on guitar, and also playing the solos.
Allen’s voice has matured in these ten years, now more identifiable, strong and precise. We have here songs in the classic American Rock style of all times in acoustic mode, with a sound reminiscent of unplugged POISON, WARRANT or ’90s BON JOVI.
Among the track-list we find the song wrote for JANI LANE as tribute after his death, another of Jamie’s idols and one he was close to work with after they met mid-2000’s…

JOHN FARNHAM – The Acoustic Chapel Sessions [CD version]

Featured here on the blog when released some years ago, it was requested again several times and worth a refresh: “The Acoustic Chapel Sessions” by Australian AOR legend JOHN FARNHAM. Recorded in Melbourne at Chapel Off Chapel, the CD consists of 11 Farnham’s classic songs from 1984 to 1996, redone in acoustic mode but with some little electrics as well.
On “The Acoustic Chapel Sessions”, John Farnham sounds amazing. The simple, stripped back format allows his voice to shine and blaze through these great, terrific classic songs. Amazing voice still to this day. Farnham is helped by a bunch of talented musicians, including terrific guitar player Brett Garsed (Nelson, John Farnham ’80s albums, etc.).
This is more than a worthy addition to any John Farnham fans’ collections, and for those that enjoy high quality music…

CAPE CHROME – Cape Chrome I (2017)

Hailing from Gävle, Sweden four-piece CAPE CHROME has been around under various names for nearly twenty years. It was nearly five years ago when the band decided it was time to record the songs written all over these years.
CAPE CHROME manage and release their music by themselves – no pressure to follow any trend, so they do what they want and what they love. And they love classic ’80s AOR / Melodic Rock.
And on this, the band’s debut, they add a touch of Progressive AOR / Pomp to make it more interesting. Think Journey Augeri-era, Kevin Chalfant’s Two Fires, ’80s Saga, etc. All songs are pretty long, but work like 3-songs-into-1, very melodious and articulated.
HIGHLY Recommended

CAPE CHROME – Cape Chrome II (2021)

Cape Chrome II” is a bit more melodic rock oriented than the band’s first effort, still influenced by Journey, Saga, etc, but now showcasing lots of layered melodies / vocal harmonies in the vein of Heartland, Tyketto, Strangeways and more.
HIGHLY Recommended

TOBB – Overrated (2021)

Formed in the ’80s, TOBB consists of some of the most reputed and experienced session musicians from Scandinavia. While the combo always tour as a unit performing AOR and rock&pop classic covers, since some time ago are releasing their own material.
Called by their fans ‘the Norway TOTO’, TOBB (which original name was The Original Bullshit Band) already pleased us a couple years ago with the reissue of their very good album “True To Our Sound”.
Now the guys are back with new a effort titled “Overrated“, where they deliver a sweet collection of fresh songs with an ’80s feeling and a pristine production…

REACH – The Promise Of A Life (2021)

Founded in Stockholm in 2012 by Ludvig Turner (vocals, guitars), Marcus Johansson (drums), and now including AORsters Houston bassist Soufian Ma´Aoui on bass, REACH have released two albums prior to this new effort released today titled “The Promise Of A Life“.
The band has been produced by Jona Tee (H.E.A.T) and the connection doesn’t ends there as REACH have played their native Sweden with H.E.A.T in February last year, plus they are due to support H.E.A.T on their European tour due later this year.
REACH have been expanding their melodic rock style since the previous CD, and “The Promise Of A Life” confirms that adding new textures, new sounds, and a varied songwriting approach…

MÄDHOUSE – Bad Habits [Digipak] (2021)

Eighties influenced sleaze rockers MÄDHOUSE will be releasing their sophomore album ”Bad Habits” on April 23, 2021, the follow up to the group’s debut album from 2019, regarded as one of the best from the genre in recent years. And ”Bad Habits” confirms these guys really nailed the genre.
Mädhouse did not laze around and with “Bad Habits”, which shows a much more mature and grown group but even though crazier than before. With the partial replacement of some band members, Mädhouse has taken themselves to the next level and recorded a 15 tracks album that perfectly reflects the attitude of the genre. Snotty street rock meets catchy melodies in the style of their heroes from early days like Mötley Crüe, Skid Row, Poison, and recent acts such as Crashdiet or Crazy Lixx…

BACKWOOD SPIRIT (Göran Edman lead vocals) – Fresh From The Can (2021)

Fresh From The Can” is the upcoming album from BACKWOOD SPIRIT, that’s Swedish classic rock with none other than Göran Edman singing. It sounds like the last three decades simply did not exist as it rocks, grooves and is full of bluesy sounds, organically produced and simply authentic. Music like a cool drink at a campfire on a Summer’s night.
Compared to their debut album, “Fresh From The Can“ is able to raise the bar considerably via refined songwriting and detailed arrangements. As usual, Edman shines all over.
This is the first release to feature new band member Mats Berglund on bass and again impressively shows Backwood Spirit’s influences…
