WINGER – The Non Album Tracks & Unreleased (0dayrox compilation)

There’s not much WINGER unreleased material, as the band released some time ago the excellent double album Demo Collection. But these were mostly pre-production demos, high quality professional demos prior to their first album.
As requested, here’s the 0dayrox compilation of rare WINGER – “The Non Album Tracks & Unreleased” – including they well known film soundtrack contributions, but also unpublished, rare songs.
While sound quality isn’t as great on the Demo Collection, it’s pretty good overall. What we find here are the very early demos by the band, and some tracks never released, a couple of acoustic takes. All songs here are WINGER the band, not Kip Winger solo.

THE MOB – The Mob [Reb Beach / Doug Pinnick / Kelly Keagy / Tim Drury / Kip Winger] HQ

As requested, here’s at max quality the pretty awesome self-titled, only album by super-group THE MOB. This melodic hard rock outfit was assembled by Whitesnake guitar player Reb Beach, who asked King’s X Doug Pinnick to perform lead vocals, Winger band-mate Kip Winger joined to also produce, and ex Eagles Timothy Drury and Night Ranger’s Kelly Keagy completed the line up.
Sometimes super-groups doesn’t work at all, THE MOB not only works but delivers some terrific material of strongly guitar driven melodic hard rock with a certain darkness but with melody and catchiness as main focus. Musically speaking, the release is a powerful, fun, and a catchy blend of immense 80’s and 90’s Hard Rock from end to end. While comparisons to Winger’s sound have been made, make no mistake that this music is decisively harder and edgier.
The Mob” is well suited for those that like their melodies big and their rhythm rock solid. Music that gets you to hum a melody and move with the beat. The CD is almost out of print and quite expensive now…

WINGER – In The Heart Of The Young +2 [Japan SHM-CD remastered] WB ’80s HR&HM Cardboard Sleeve Series

As requested, here’s the Japanese remastered version pressed on SHM-CD of WINGER‘s second, killer album “In The Heart Of The Young”, as part of the Warner Records ’80s HR&HM Cardboard Sleeve Series.
This Japanese mini-LP replica release features a different bonus track from the Rock Candy release, and in terms of quality are pretty similar, perhaps the SHM-CD sounding clearer in the mid-range frequencies. It’s a great balanced sound, the close you can get to a brand new vinyl LP. It’s vibrant, glossy, pumpin’…

WINGER – Winger +3 [Japan SHM-CD remastered] ++

As requested, here’s the Japanese remastered version pressed on SHM-CD of WINGER‘s self titled debut, as part of the Warner Records ’80s HR&HM Cardboard Sleeve Series.
1988 was a definitive year for two very important entities in the Melodic Hard Rock world; the self-titled debut by WINGER established producer Beau Hill as one of the most brilliant gurus for the genre, and catapulted the band of Kip Winger & Reb Beach to stardom.
This Japanese mini-LP replica release features a different bonus track from the Rock Candy release, and in terms of quality are pretty similar, perhaps the SHM-CD sounding clearer in the midtones….

WINGER – Seventeen The Demos [300 hand numbered limited edition]

Here’s the requested, rare 300 hand-numbered limited edition red vinyl of WINGER ‘s “Seventeen The Demos“, released some time ago by Cleopatra Records, now a collectible and of course out of print. This is an official release, but there isn’t a regular cardboard cover with this, just a paper sleeve and a insert in a plastic sheet sleeve. Also included is a patch and a pin / button.
These excellent 16-track professional demos were released in other formats but sonically pretty brick-walled / saturated. However the mastering for this LP pressing is different, much better.
Musically, these are top notch melodic rock / AOR classics, original versions of ‘Can’t Get Enuff’, ‘Easy Come Easy Go’, ‘Seventeen’, ‘Headed for a Heartbreak’, etc.
